A 5-Week Crash Course on
Following Jesus in College

Wednesdays at 7PM
9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1
Location: Wylie Hall 115

College is all about opportunity and preparation.

You can choose from hundreds of majors. There are over 45,000 students on this campus to meet, 750+ organizations to join, and on any given day at least 10 events vying for your attention.

You’ll pick a major to prepare you for your dream job. You’ll join a few clubs, maybe to boost your résumé, maybe just for fun. You’ll show up at career fairs to land the perfect internship that leads to the perfect job. In 3–5 years, you’ll walk across that graduation stage, prepared for the career you’ve worked toward.

But here’s a question: Have you thought about how the next 3–5 years are preparing you to follow Jesus for the rest of your life?

Following Jesus at IU isn’t easy and you’re not meant to do it alone. We want to help to prepare and equip you to follow, serve, and love Jesus and His church, not just now, but for the rest of your life.

Join us for 5 sessions over 5 weeks where we’ll explore:
- What it really means to follow Jesus
- Why Scripture matters and how to read it
- The importance of joining a church
- Growing into maturity in your faith
- Living out your faith in relationships with others

We’ll walk through 1 John and other key passages as we discuss, learn, and grow together.

Our Purpose:

Foot of the cross campus Ministry

Formerly the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Indiana University, fxCampus is one way that we connect with, serve, and help equip students to be on mission for the rest of their life. We challenge students to view their campus as a mission field and an opportunity to be a witness to others.

We desire for students to be active members in a local church, whether that ends up being fxchurch or another body around Bloomington.

A Christian college student will spend approximately 2-5 years a part of a campus ministry and Lord willing, the next 50+ years as a member of a local church.

Traditional campus ministries can be great when they accompany being an active member of a local church but if students are only connected to a campus ministry, what happens when you graduate? What happens when there isn’t a weekly large event full of people your age? Those students will leave college with no context for how to be a member of a local church with multiple generations and may struggle when they graduate. We want to help you learn to serve and love the bride of Christ.

We want to equip you to serve the bride of christ for the next 50+ years.
