CROSS CONFERENCE in Louisville, KY
Our Purpose:
Foot of the cross campus Ministry
Formerly the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Indiana University, fxCampus is one way that we connect with, serve, and help equip students to be on mission for the rest of their life. We challenge students to view their campus as a mission field and an opportunity to be a witness to others.
We desire for students to be active members in a local church, whether that ends up being fxchurch or another body around Bloomington.
A Christian college student will spend approximately 2-5 years a part of a campus ministry and Lord willing, the next 50+ years as a member of a local church.
Traditional campus ministries can be great when they accompany being an active member of a local church but if students are only connected to a campus ministry, what happens when you graduate? What happens when there isn’t a weekly large event full of people your age? Those students will leave college with no context for how to be a member of a local church with multiple generations and may struggle when they graduate. We want to help you learn to serve and love the bride of Christ.
